Dance & Dessert XV

Ballet Tucson dancers are known for their refined artistry, powerful athleticism, and uncommon versatility. Dance & Dessert serves as the perfect vehicle to showcase their dynamic range of dance styles. The eclectic repertoire of classical and contemporary works offers something for everyone's taste. Revivals include Masquerade, a striking ensemble piece that evokes light-hearted, engaging human interactions. Continuing our tradition of presenting works by legendary choreographer Antony Tudor, Amanda McKerrow and John Gardner will be staging the premiere of the fourth pas de deux from Tudor's hauntingly beautiful The Leaves Are Fading and are thrilled to be restaging Continuo, one of Tudor's most compelling dance arrangements set to the classic Pachelbel's Canon.
