Dance & Dessert

Ballet Tucson dancers are known for their refined artistry, powerful athleticism, and uncommon versatility. Dance & Dessert serves as the perfect vehicle for the artists to showcase their dynamic range of dance styles and the eclectic program offers something for everyone’s taste. Continuing our tradition of presenting works by legendary choreography Antony Tudor, the company premiere of another Tudor piece (to be staged by Artistic Associates Amanda McKerrow and John Gardner) is scheduled for spring 2010. Gourmet desserts from many of Tucson’s favorite restaurants will be served at a post-performance reception. Last season, over 60 local eateries participated to make the event a unique treat for dance and dessert lovers of every kind.
