Message from the Artistic Director
~ Mary Beth Cabana
As I write this message, I am proud to reflect on the artistic accomplishments of last year’s 10th Anniversary as a professional company. Building on that success, the 2014-2015 season promises to be even more exciting as Ballet Tucson evolves and prospers. To ignite the spark, the company opens with a brand new Phantom of the Opera (the ballet), a collaboration of Ballet Tucson’s artistic team. In addition to presenting our much beloved production of The Nutcracker, by popular demand we are bringing back our full-length classical ballet Sleeping Beauty. Cutting edge premiere works by Daniel Precup and Kiyon Gaines will highlight Dance & Dessert 2015 along with an eclectic array of other tasty surprises. We are grateful to have your patronage and invite you to journey forward with us as we take Ballet Tucson to new artistic heights!
